Kathy L Grant           

Kathy L. Grant, PhD, CT(ASCP) hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she received her cytotechnology training at Thomas Jefferson University in 1976. Dr. Grant has worked at several academic institutions in administrative & teaching positions, currently serving as the Cytopathology Manager for Duke University Health System and the Anatomic Pathology Manager for Duke Raleigh, part of Duke Medicine. She has a MS degree in Health Administration and a dual PhD in Cytopathology and Technical Education. Dr. Grant is working with Mr. Rinas et al on a state/national research project involving HPV. For fun, she is writing a children’s book.

Denise Job           

Denise Job, BS, CT(ASCP), was born in New Jersey and graduated from Purdue University in Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Community Health Education in 1991. She then moved to Virginia Beach where she worked at the Tidewater Psychiatric Institute. Ms. Job went back to school in 1996 and graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Cytotechnology in 1997. She now resides in Durham and works for Duke Medicine as a Senior Cytotechnologist.

Samar R Langley           

Samar Langley, BS, CT(ASCP) has spent all her life in North Carolina. She grew up in Raleigh and graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina in 1990 with a BS degree in Biology. She started working in the clinical laboratory at LabCorp in Burlington and later attended the Cytotechnology program graduating in 1995. She continued to work at LabCorp as a cytotechnologist for 5 years. Ms. Langley currently works as a Senior Cytotechnologist for Duke Medicine.
